INTRODUCTION

Every lesson contains typical questions for seminars, as well as diagrams, drawings, tests and situational tasks.

Students are encouraged to perform the following learning tasks during classroom and extracurricular classes:

1) Name the borders of the regions.

2) Describe the topographic and anatomical structures shown in the drawings and photographs.

3) Characterize the stages of surgical operations.

4) Solve the situational task.

5) Give answers to tests.

The authors of the workbook hope that this manual will improve student?s understanding and memorizing the spatial relationships of the basic anatomical structures of the chest, abdomen, and pelvic cavity, as well as form an algorithm for performing basic surgical interventions in these areas. Moreover, the tasks presented in the workbook will help students to prepare for the current control of knowledge in the studying discipline.
