15. TOPOGRAPHICAL ANATOMY OF THE SUPERIOR COMPARTMENT OF THE ABDOMINAL CAVITY

Topics of the lesson. Abdominal cavity. The passageway of the peritoneum. The ratio of the visceral peritoneum to the organs. The division of the abdominal cavity into the superior and inferior compartments. Visceral topography of the abdominal cavity superior compartment (stomach, liver, gall bladder, spleen, duodenum, pancreas, abdominal oesophagus): holotopy, syntopy, skeletotopy, blood supply, innervation, lymph drainage. Topographical anatomy of the abdominal cavity?s bursae: omental bursa, pregastric bursa, hepatic bursa, their practical importance.

15.1. Sign the names of the abdominal organs, indicated in Fig. 15.1, and paint over the passageway of the peritoneum with different colors.
