21. TOPOGRAPHIC ANATOMY OF LESSER PELVIS AND PERINEUM

Topics of the lesson: The concept of a lesser pelvis in topographic anatomy. Pelvis bases: bone-ligamentous and muscular. Walls and divisions of the lesser pelvis. Pelvic fasciae and cellular spaces. The superior division of the lesser pelvic cavity: male and female peritoneum continuation. The topography of pelvic organs. Blood supply and venous drainage of the pelvis. Sympathetic and parasympathetic innervation of the pelvic organs. The topography of the perineum.
