Appendix 1. What Is Included in Modern First Aid Kit?

From September 1, 2021, new requirements for the composition of four first aid kits (packs) for first aid came into force, as well as Instructions for first aid with their use, approved by the profile commission of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on First Aid. Depending on the type of first aid kit and the estimated number of victims, the amount of funds may vary.

1. Dressings and means of temporary bleeding control:

• blood stopping tourniquet — 1 pc;
• unsterile roller bandage 5 m × 5 cm — 2;
• unsterile roller bandage 5 cm × 10 cm — 2;
• unsterile roller bandage 7 cm × 14 cm — 1;
• unsterile roller bandage 5 m × 7 cm — 2;
• sterile roller bandage 5 m × 7 cm — 2;
• sterile roller bandage 5 m × 10 cm — 2;
• sterile roller bandage 7 m × 14 cm — 1;
• first-aid pack — 1;
• sterile gauze dressings 16×14 cm No 10 — 1 pac.;
• antiseptic band-aid 4 cm × 10 cm — 2;
• antiseptic band-aid 1.9 cm × 7.2 cm — 10;
• sticking plaster 1–250 cm — 1.

2. “Mouth-to-Mouth” ventilation device — 1

3. Additionally:

• Medical gloves (minimal size “M”) — 1 pair;
• Medical face mask – 1;
